KOALA-TY TIME
This week, the Australian Reptile Park in Sydney said hello to its first koala joey to be born since the devastating bushfires. The baby, named Ash, was actually born in January, but as koalas can spend up to seven months in their mother’s pouches, it was only safe to check on her this week. The Fast Company, in collaboration with Lesbian Who Tech & Allies, have published the first ever list of LGBTQ+ women and nonbinary innovators in business and tech. Once upon a time, Zoom was only used for boring business meetings. Now? It’s getting A-List stars together on a daily basis! Finley Molloy, a golden retriever from New York has broken the world record for most tennis balls held in a mouth at one time. IKEA OPENS UP
Swedish giant Ikea may not be open, but one store in Germany have opened up their car park to the Muslim community. With social distancing rules restricting where people can gather, one community asked Ikea if they could use their space to celebrate the end of Ramadan while still respecting social distancing guidelines.
