Last year, we launched Youth Rising - a podcast designed for you, by you!
Made entirely by a group of young people, and hosted by Elena and Muhsin, each episode tackles important issues that matter to you and have an impact on you and your communities, breaking stereotypes around youth culture. This is something which has really resonated with listeners:
“I really enjoyed listening to this podcast as it gives a voice to a wide range of young people discussing issues that affect them. It's fascinating to hear articulate passionate young people talking in this way”
The sixteen episodes of Season One covered topics from justice to the environment, mental health to equality and diversity. The podcast team spoke up about real stories that affect young people, and took the opportunity to showcase campaigners who are making a difference and creating real change.
“Great podcast so far guys. Just listened to my third episode and, as a woman in sport, can’t wait for this week’s. Such important topics, really good insights and smart presenting. I’ll be staying tuned”
For all the available episodes, just head to Spotify, Acast or Apple Podcasts, and don’t forget to subscribe to be the first to hear when Season Two premieres in the new year, woohoo!
“This podcast made my day, it is the best. They really give young people a chance to voice our opinion.”
