ROTTWEILER
Did you know the Rottweiler hails from the Southwest German town, Rottweil? When Roman soldiers left their mastiff-type dogs behind, the town looked after them, bred them with sheepdog, and the Rottweiler breed was created. Rotties are incredibly strong, athletic and loyal...but this often leads to the perception that they’re aggressive and over protective. But, like any dog, with good training, they’re lovable pups!

GOLDEN RETRIEVER
The Golden Retriever is one of the most popular dog breeds in the UK, and it’s easy to see why. They’re outgoing, playful, friendly, intelligent and gentle. They were bred to be working dogs, so naturally have lots of energy and require a lot of activity. And lots of people think it looks like they’re smiling all the time!

They’re not particularly lazy dogs, and love a lot of exercise. And, did you know they’re known as ‘velcro dogs’? What that means is that if they love you, they’ll be stuck to your side at all times. Cute!

PUG
Pugs are known for their squishy little faces and charming personalities. They’re mischievous, fun and thrive on companionship. Lots of people think they’re a little goofy...which is why they’re known as the ‘class clown’ of dogs! They may be playful, but don’t require a huge amount of activity, and are generally happy to just tag along and do whatever their human is doing, whether that’s going for a walk or snuggling down to watch a movie.
Here’s why you chose them:
“They sound like pigs!”
“They're cute”
