Writers’ Club member Vania writes a poem for Anti-Bullying Week…
We’re back with another instalment of Poet’s Corner, our series featuring poems written for you, by you! This time, Vania writes a poem for Anti-Bullying Week on how in society everyone is quickly cancelled or dismissed for their opinions, but it's important to understand that our behaviour towards others is just as hurtful as our words…
WORDS
Words are merely words,
faint random letters.
Words are merely words,
voices that know no better.
However, words are truth,
guilt and vain.
Mixtures of hope and pain,
a knot of lies and rage.
Words are merely words,
until they become swords.
