Five TikTok Dancers You Need To Follow
It’s #InternationalDanceDay on Thursday, and what better way to celebrate than with a whole load of new dance accounts to follow on TikTok. From professionals to people who just love to move, these are the people you need on your feed…
Perri shot to fame back in 2009 as part of British dance troupe Diversity, when they won Britain’s Got Talent. And he hasn’t stopped dancing since! Perri’s got 1.9 million followers on TikTok and is always uploading new dance videos - and sometimes comedy videos too! He’ll even bring in his sister and other members of Diversity to dance along with him.

Nifè started working at ASOS, but soon realised that she wanted more. She wanted to dance full time! Her rise on TikTok came through dance challenges, where people would copy her moves and come up with their own ideas based off of that. If you’re looking for someone whose personality really shines through their dance, she’s the girl for you! She dances on her own and also brings in a lot of her mates to dance with too.

Lewis is the first to say he’s ‘not a dancer, just likes to move’ and 1.2 million people are more than okay with that! Lewis found TikTok fame during lockdown last year when he started dancing along to all the trending music for fun. He started to get more recognition and viral fame once he brought in his family - his mum, dad, and grandma! He posts regular dancing videos and challenges with all of them and has even had his posts shared by Cardi B!

Hannah is all about spreading positivity - and a love of musical theatre - through dance. She became TikTok famous through the pandemic, as a dancing Tesco worker, and Doughnut Time worker! Yep, her videos often see her strutting the aisles of Tesco or Doughnut Time, or her own home or out in public (phew!) and making up dances. She’s got over 170k followers and most of her dance videos reach about 500k views! She’s even had people like Ryan Clark-Neal repost and love her content.

James Derrick - also known as BDash - is a professional dancer and choreographer from LA, who also competed on the American TV show World of Dance. He’s got over 3 million followers on TikTok and his dance videos are all about blending different styles with creativity. He often does dances that are all about isolated movements, and often even look like they’re animated! Whether he’s on his own or dancing with a load of friends, he’s definitely doing things you may not have ever seen before.
