NCS is deeply saddened by the passing of Her late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Read the rest of the statement following the passing of The Queen
The Queen was a shining example of what it means to live a life of service from a very young age, showing unwavering dedication to her country. As Britain’s longest-reigning monarch, she has left a truly remarkable legacy for so many people across the country and around the world.
For over half a century The Queen was an incomparable global figure of unstinting duty, from her actions during World War II as a teenager through to her last few weeks of life, inviting our new Prime Minister to form a government on her behalf.
Throughout her extraordinary life The Queen met global leaders, states people and celebrities at home and abroad.
The Queen found strength and consolation from her deep faith and is now reunited with her beloved Philip, The Prince Duke of Edinburgh, whom she fondly referred to as “my strength and my stay”.
We celebrate Her Majesty, how she served our country, and led us as a nation, together. We are proud to be part of her powerful, lasting legacy.
