Our 2018 Grads' Top Ten
We asked our 2018 grads for their ‘best bits’ of being on programme. From new mates to epic hikes, here are their highlights:
Shannon: The trapeze
“This photo was taken by one of my close friends. I was getting ready to do the trapeze and I was TERRIFIED of heights! The Autumn NCS trip helped me overcome many of my fears.”
Jasmine: “My new best friends”
For Jasmine, the best bit was becoming best mates with her NCS team.
Maya: Our famous walk!
“My group spent the first week over 3 hours away in Pembrokeshire and this photo is from our long walk over the hills near the beach where it is said they filmed Dobby's death in Harry Potter!”
Katie: Kickstart 2018
Katie’s highlight was Kickstart (the five-day-long sequel to NCS), where she met other grads and became part of her Regional Youth Board.

“Amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience with a new group of friends. Thanks to everyone from our team for making it such an incredible experience.”
Gabby: The scenery
“Is it even possible to have a better view from the Lake District?!”
Lidia: “The residential trip was great!”
“The team worked together amazingly and we had so much fun!”
Daniel: Planting crosses
“We helped our community by planting over 2,000 crosses for Remembrance Day. I absolutely love our team!”
Chloe: The hike!
“Some found it more difficult than others but we stood strong as a team and motivated each other and then, finally, we made it through the cold, wind and rain!”
Priya: GRADUATION
Priya’s favourite memories of NCS are from graduation. It’s a great time when everyone looks back on what they’ve achieved and celebrate together.
